The Colorado Rocky Mountains are an ideal location to experience four distinct seasons. Not only does the landscape transform with each change of season, but so do the activities and events that residents and visitors enjoy.
Here in the high country, the most anticipated season of the year is winter. The subject of snow is on everyone's minds --when is it coming and how much will we get? Challenges abound as to who will have the most days on the mountain.
#First30 is a celebration of memorable firsts during the first thirty days of the new winter season. Seize the season and follow Epic Pass on Facebook to get notifications about discounts, events, and weather. Whether you are looking for fresh powder or freshly groomed, get the information directly from the experts.
What will your memorable firsts be this season? First gondola ride, après, goggle tan, Snow Days concert, sleigh ride, or powder day? Here at TV8 we have gathered some of our favorite events to kick off the #First30 days of the 2017-2018 ski season.

Pssst - Heads up #First30 Headband Day at Vail Mountain can only be discovered by being in the know with an Epic Pass.
Be sure to experience the recent lift upgrades during your #First30 this season. Upgraded lifts at both Vail and Beaver Creek will enhance your skiing and snowboarding experience. At Vail check out the new Northwoods/Chair 11. This high-speed six-passenger lift will get you to the back bowls in a fraction of the time. At Beaver Creek, the nostalgic Drink of Water lift has been replaced by the Red Buffalo Express. In addition to decreasing by half the ride time over the old lift, the Red Buffalo Express should also ease congestion in the vicinity of the Cinch lift as well.
