Dec 17, 2018 -- Posted by : TV8

Following the debut of Red Buffalo Park during the 2017-2018 season, Beaver Creek Resort is building on its reputation as the world's best luxury family resort by debuting a second signature learning area in 2018-2019. Haymeadow Park opens Saturday Dec. 15, 2018, and will kick off with a ribbon cutting of the new ice cream parlor located at the top of Haymeadow express, ski school demonstrations, prizes, and more.

Beaver Creek's innovative learning terrain is designed around creating the most enjoyable beginner experience with snow terrain features perfectly sculpted to ensure a guests' first skiing and riding experience is positive. At the heart of Haymeadow Park are a beginner gondola and lift, Haymeadow Express Gondola (#1) and Highlands Lift (#2), plus adjacent magic carpets designed for beginner skiers and riders of all ages.

Terrain improvements also include a learning area with small terrain features, a beginner race course, Buffalo Bumps and Berms, and Ske-Cology environmental learning. The reimagined Haymeadow Park will give Beaver Creek the most dedicated learning terrain in the state of Colorado.

Haymeadow Park amenities also include culinary delights such as the new Ice Cream Parlor located at The Ranch offering nostalgic ice cream novelties or a quick soup and sandwich lunch. An exclusive specialty kid-designed restaurant lunch area is also provided at The Ranch for kids enrolled in Ski School.

Haymeadow Park not only offers a great learning experience for children, but it is a great place for adults to learn as well. The resort offers a variety of ski and snowboarding lessons for all levels and ages, whether it’s learning the basics, fine-tuning skills, or discovering the best terrain. Lessons range from beginner, intermediate/advanced, to family lessons. Professional mountain guides are also available to give guests an inside look at Beaver Creek, and to show them terrain they have never seen before.

Beaver Creek offers a wide variety of lessons for everyone in the family to ensure everyone has an incredible time on the mountain. The resort even offers a three day guarantee when entering kids in ski school. The guarantee is that after three consecutive lessons, ages 5-6 will be able to ski or ride Haymeadow Park, and ages 7-14 will be skiing or riding Red Buffalo while using turns to control their speed.

For those who want to enjoy the mountain while maximizing family time, Beaver Creek offers lessons for the whole family. The lesson takes place on terrain that accommodates the lowest level skier and allows up to five family members to share in the learning with the whole family and a private instructor who will help fine tune skills and allow the families to explore the mountain together.
